Getting youth into the workforce is the ultimate goal of the Job
Development Program, but our work doesn’t end there. Many youth still
need assistance in times of conflict or loss of motivation. The following
resources are here to help youth stay on track:
- Work Ethic-Stage II: everything you need to know to advance in
the workplace. How to perform the best job possible; reviewing
employment evaluations.
- Conflict resolution in the workplace: learning the proper way to
deal with conflicts between co-workers, employers, or customers.
- Business sense: how to ask for a raise, more responsibility, and how
to leave a job on good terms.

A major focus of our program is to produce computer literate job candidates.
Our computer skill enhancement component meets youth at their current
level of computer knowledge and provides them with the following training.
- Basic navigation skills
- Microsoft Office
- Word
- Excel
