CELEBRATING THE FOURTH OF JULY IN STYLE   Covenant House Alaska youth, staff and volunteers put on their best red, white and blue (and green) Covenant House gear to be part of this year's Fourth of July Parade in downtown Anchorage. The Covenant House Alaska bunch joined the shopping cart brigade and pushed shopping carts (wonderfully decorated with red, white and blue streamers, flags and information about Covenant House Alaska) throughout the parade route collecting canned food to benefit Catholic Social Services' St. Francis House. Everyone had a great time, and we were all very excited to be part of this special celebration of freedom and community.       Click on any picture to enlarge.
