21st Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Youth
Thursday, November 10, 2011

Nov 10, 2011
6:00 PM

This year’s Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Youth will be held at 6pm on Thursday, November 10th, in front of our Crisis Center on F Street between 6th & 7th Avenues.

As we gather together outside, we remember the thousands of homeless youth that have walked through the doors of Covenant House Alaska…the brave young men and women who have sought shelter from the cold and dark on our streets. Kids from all walks of life who come to us seeking safety, courage and unwavering respect – all of which have been missing from their lives. We ask you to join us as we stand beside – and stand up for – these young people.

When you light a candle, you show you are there for them. You become their voice, advocate and their friend. You bring the light of love and hope into their lives. A light that the darkness of the streets can never extinguish. Please join us in lighting the night for our kids, and help us to provide strength, comfort and courage for all their tomorrows.

Please join our special guests in lighting the dark for our kids...

Kevin Ryan: President, Covenant House

Karla Mosley: Actress, Director & Covenant House International Board
