News And Events
Each year, Covenant House Alaska (CHA) hosts a number of special events designed to raise awareness and generate support for our programs and services. Our annual special events include:

Fire & Ice Ball. This elite gathering, which is held on the third Saturday in January, is our major annual fundraising event.

Passage House Luncheon. This luncheon, held each May, benefits Passage House, our transitional living program for pregnant and parenting teen moms.

Don Fridley Memorial Golf Tournament. The Anchorage Lions Club has sponsored this annual golf tournament to benefit CHA programs since 1987.

Candlelight Vigil. Each November, in honor of National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, local community leaders, concerned citizens and CHA clients gather to raise awareness of homelessness with a candlelight vigil downtown Anchorage.
