Transitional Living Program
Covenant House Alaska’s (CHA) Transitional Living Program provides homeless youth with a safe, stable living environment, as well as services to help them successfully transition to an independent, self-sufficient lifestyle through gainful employment.
CHA’s Transitional Living Program has two sites in Anchorage:
- Rights of Passage serves homeless males and females, ages 18 to 20.
- Passage House serves parenting and pregnant women, ages 17 to 20, and their children.
These programs promote youth self-sufficiency by providing them with opportunities to build leadership skills and become more involved in their communities. Youth in the program also have access to other CHA programs, such as the Community Services Center and Crisis Center, as well as CHA services, such as Employment/Education Assistance, Health Services, the Youth Enrichment Program, Pastoral Ministry, and Housing Services.
